Abstract Painting & Mixed Media Workshop

Our abstract painting workshops are hands-on, small-group sessions focused on intuitive painting and mixed media exploration. All materials are included. You are free to create in your own way — working with color, texture, layers, and mark-making — while being gently guided step by step through the process.

We work with a variety of painting and mixed media techniques such as acrylics, inks, collage, texture pastes, and experimental tools. There is no fixed outcome to achieve. Instead, the focus is on process, movement, and discovering how different materials interact with one another over time. You’ll learn how to build layers, respond to what appears on the surface, and allow the painting to evolve naturally.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with prior experience. Guidance is calm and supportive, leaving space for personal expression, experimentation, and your own creative rhythm. This is an invitation to let go of expectations and reconnect with the joy of painting freely.

Watercolor Workshop

Our watercolor workshops are hands-on, small-group sessions focused on exploring the fluid and expressive nature of watercolor. All materials are included. You are free to create at your own pace — working with color, water, and light — while being gently guided step by step through the process.

We work with watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, layering, washes, and intuitive mark-making. The focus is on learning how water and pigment interact, how to let go of control, and how to respond to what unfolds on the paper. You’ll explore transparency, movement, and softness, allowing each piece to develop naturally.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with prior experience. Guidance is calm and supportive, leaving space for experimentation, personal expression, and your own creative rhythm. This is an invitation to slow down, observe, and enjoy the quiet joy of painting with water and color.

Batik Workshop

Our batik workshops are hands-on, small-group sessions focused on working with wax and dye to create layered, expressive textile patterns. All materials are included. You are free to create in your own way — exploring lines, symbols, and organic forms — while being gently guided step by step through the process.

We work with traditional batik techniques using hot wax and textile dyes. You’ll learn how to apply wax to fabric, build patterns in layers, and understand how repetition and restraint shape the final design. The process invites patience and presence, allowing each piece to develop gradually through multiple stages of waxing and dyeing.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with prior experience. Guidance is calm and supportive, leaving space for experimentation, personal rhythm, and intuitive decision-making. This is an invitation to slow down, work with intention, and experience the meditative nature of creating with your hands.

Workshop Types & Private Events

Kuzu Arte Studio offers a wide range of creative workshops throughout the year. Our program includes ceramic workshops, Raku firing experiences, mosaic, batik, painting, screen printing, and open creative workshops designed for exploration and experimentation. Some sessions focus on painting ceramics, while others invite you to work freely across materials.

In addition to regular workshops, we also host birthday parties, private group sessions and custom creative events. Each workshop listing includes detailed information about the technique, duration and language, so you can choose the experience that fits you best.
